School and student transport

In school and student transport, two things matter more than anything else: safety and punctuality. A child should not be late for class or left waiting on the road after school, and parents should know where their child is and at what time.

Avtobus.az runs regular shuttles and one-off trips for schools, universities and training courses in Baku. The driver and fuel are included in the price, and depending on the size of the group we have everything from minibuses to full-size coaches.

Regular school shuttle

For a shuttle that runs every day throughout the school year, a monthly agreement is signed. Before it starts, the route, stops and times are set together: where the pupils get on, what time the bus leaves, when it arrives at school and when it returns after classes.

A regular shuttle is run by the same driver. The children know the driver, and the driver knows the route and the stops. For parents, that means much less daily worry.

When the timetable changes — for example with shift-based schooling or during exams — the times can change too. Just let us know in advance.

Shuttles for universities and courses

We set up shuttles for universities and training centres in the same way: between a student dormitory and the campus, or from several residential areas to the teaching building. If classes end in the evening, a return run is added to the schedule.

School trips and one-off journeys

Besides a regular shuttle, you can also make one-off bookings:

• a class trip to a museum, theatre or exhibition
• a one-day school trip to the regions — Guba, Gabala, Shamakhi, Ismayilli
• travel to olympiads, competitions and contests
• graduation nights and school events
• return trips to a summer camp

For trips to the regions, the route, stops and breaks are planned in advance. On long journeys with children we recommend more frequent breaks — and we build them into the programme.

Which bus fits

For small groups the 13-seat Toyota Hiace and the 20-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter work well. For one class or a small course group, the 28-seat Isuzu Novo Ultra and the 36-seat Temsa are comfortable. To take several classes or a whole course together, there are 46–56-seat coaches: Mercedes-Benz 403, Scania Higer A80, Mercedes-Benz Travego and Setra 417 HDH.

Every child needs their own seat — when choosing the bus, count the accompanying teachers and parents as well.

Price and terms

For a regular shuttle the price is calculated monthly, based on the length of the route, the number of runs and the size of the bus. For one-off trips the price depends on the distance and duration. In both cases the driver and fuel are included; payment is by cash or bank transfer.

How to book

• Fill in the form or message us on WhatsApp: number of pupils, route, times and the start date of the service.
• Within an hour we send you a suitable bus and a price.
• Once agreed, the booking is secured with a deposit and the bus is reserved for you.

To have the shuttle ready for the start of the school year, we recommend sending your request in August.

Frequently asked questions

Does the shuttle only run during the school year? You decide how long the agreement lasts. A short-term shuttle for summer courses or a camp is also possible.

Can we hire a bus for a single day trip? Yes, there is no minimum period. You can hire a bus even for a museum visit of a few hours.

Can the trip start outside Baku? No, trips start only from addresses within Baku. Going to a region and coming back is possible.
