Airport transfer — Heydar Aliyev International Airport

When a group flies together, the hardest part starts after landing: ten or fifteen people, everyone with luggage, several taxis, and everyone reaching the same address at different times. One bus solves this — the group leaves together and arrives together.

Avtobus.az arranges group transfers between Heydar Aliyev International Airport and the city: from the airport to your hotel, from the hotel to the airport, and directly to the regions. The driver and fuel are included in the price.

How it works

In your request, include the flight date, flight number and arrival time, the number of passengers and a rough number of suitcases. With this information we plan the driver's arrival at the airport and choose a bus that fits the luggage.

The meeting point and the driver's contact number are sent to you before the trip. Once the group has gathered, the bus goes straight to the hotel or the agreed address.

On the way back — from the hotel to the airport — the pick-up time is set according to your flight, so you reach check-in and security without rushing.

Night and early-morning flights are included. Many flights to Baku land at night, and at those hours it is hard to find enough taxis for a whole group.

Room for luggage

For an airport transfer, the number of seats is not enough — suitcases take space too. That is why we consider the luggage as well as the number of passengers when choosing the bus.

For small groups the 8-seat Mercedes-Benz Vito and the 13-seat Toyota Hiace fit well; for groups of up to 20 people, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. For large groups there are coaches with luggage compartments: the 48-seat Scania Higer A80, the 55-seat Mercedes-Benz Travego and the 56-seat Setra 417 HDH. If you have a lot of luggage, we recommend a bus one size larger than your passenger count.

Delegations and events

Event guests often arrive on different flights at different times of day. In that case you can hire a bus for the whole day or plan a separate transfer for each flight. Send us the list of flights and we will work out together which option suits you best.

When the event ends, the guests' return to the airport is planned the same way: who is on which flight and what time they need to leave the hotel.

From the airport to the regions

If your guests are not staying in Baku, the transfer can go straight to a region: from the airport to Gabala, Sheki, Gusar or Lankaran. In that case the trip is priced as an intercity journey — the route and price are agreed in advance, with no extra payment on the way.

Price and booking

The price depends on the distance and the size of the bus. The driver and fuel are included; payment is by cash or bank transfer.

Fill in the form or message us on WhatsApp — we will send a suitable bus and a price within an hour. The booking is secured with a deposit; if it is cancelled, the deposit is not refunded. So it is best to book once your flight date and number are confirmed.

Can you do a transfer for a flight landing at night? Yes, night and early-morning flights are included. Please give the exact arrival time in your request.

Can we book only the airport-to-hotel leg? Yes, you can book a one-way transfer or a return trip. Both directions can go in the same request.

How many suitcases fit? That depends on the size of the bus. Tell us the number of passengers and suitcases, and we will suggest a bus that fits the luggage.

How is this different from a taxi? The group travels together in one bus: everyone arrives at the same time, the luggage stays in one place, and there is no need to find several cars and split the fare.
